Week 8

It is official--I have reached eight weeks in my pregnancy. According to various websites, our baby is approximately the size of a grape or a kidney bean (there are always food comparisons!), with a heart beat and major organs, and facial characteristics like ears, eyes and nose developing soon. Needless to say, Nathan and I are very excited. Our first doctor's appointment is on Tuesday, and we hope to bring you more information after that visit. Until then, we are praising the Lord for the miracle of this baby, and for my lack of severe sickness up to this point. Look for information on Wednesday...
