Good Intentions

Well, everyone has good intentions, including me. Last weekend we took a couple of cute pictures that I intended to post--one of me and my belly at 34 weeks, and a couple of Nathan proudly pushing our baby stroller. Unfortunately, somewhere in the transferring of the pictures to my computer, they were deleted off my camera without completely transferring over. So they are gone. We can never get back the picture of my belly at 34 weeks (sad!), but I will try to make Nathan pose with the stroller again soon :-)

Everything is slowly coming together. Last weekend we worked a lot on assembling things and getting things organized. Her crib is up and in place, as is the changing table. The car seat is now installed in our mini van, and the stroller is ready whenever Georgia is! I have talked with a couple of friends about the items that I still "have to have" and the list isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be! Babies are adaptable, and many items can be purchased over time as they get bigger.

We had another doctor's appointment this week as well as a tour of the birthing center at our hospital. The doctor's appointment was short and sweet and boring. The most exciting thing was that my blood pressure was higher than normal FOR ME, which is still safely below emergency/worrying stage. I think it was because we were stuck in traffic and I was late to my doctor's appointment. Everything continues to progress well. I have another doctor's appointment in two weeks, and then it is every week after that. I guess it is all downhill from here...minus the whole labor and delivery part, which might be more uphill :-) The hospital tour was okay, but apparently we had a volunteer showing us around who kept having to read off of index cards, and didn't always know the answers to our questions. He also referred to the sandwich shop Quiznos as Kweez-nose. It was funny. A great thing to note, though--Rex Hospital has a 24 hour Starbucks and Quiznos--I think I know of at least one grandparent who would appreciate that!

That is all for now... I will see about having some new pictures posted soon! Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers!

**Update--I found the pictures I originally intended to post! Enjoy!**
