Georgia was one month old on Tuesday, November 21. She celebrated the day by going to the doctor's office--again! I think she is getting a little tired of those visits:-) Georgia continues to 'grow like a weed': she weighs 9 lbs and is 23 inches long. She has gained almost a pound and over 2 inches in length in just over two weeks! The doctor again was very pleased with her weight gain and development, and gave us permission to let Georgia sleep as long as she wants at night. Yippee! Right now, that means she falls asleep between 11-12 and doesn't wake up until 4-5 a.m...but that changes from night to night. She sleeps longer than three hours between feedings on most nights, so that is a huge blessing. In other milestones, though we had been seeing traces of a smile for at least a week (including a smile attempt captured on film on her birthday-see below), on Wednesday night Georgia TRULY smiled in response to her daddy. It was quite a milestone, and though we don't have a picture of that exact smile, I will post some "Georgia smiles" pictures tomorrow or Monday. Meanwhile, enjoy the pictures below, which were taken on Georgia's 'birthday.'
