Community

This past Friday night, Nathan and I had the chance to experience true Christian community. We ate dinner with three other couples, the Wallaces, the Estes, and the Jones. The really cool thing is we had never met the couples before! Nathan and I have become friends with the Wallaces through their blogs (Emily's and Charlie's), and when they were in town last weekend, they organized a 'get together' of all their friends-both old and new! Though we had not met in person, we had a great time talking, laughing and sharing together. Though we did not know each other well, we shared a common bond of belief in Jesus Christ as the one who saves and redeems us. It was so much fun! As you can see in the pictures below, Georgia got to meet some kids her own age: Jackson Estes (the sad baby), Jackson Wallace (the touchy, "leaning" baby:-), and Zachary Brammer (the baby Nathan is holding). We praise the Lord for this chance to make new friends.
