Welcome to our world! Our prayer is that you will rejoice with us as we share our life with you.

Ona Durham
This past Tuesday evening, my maternal grandmother, Ona Durham, passed away. Her health had been rapidly deteriorating for several weeks, and she was not expected to live through Christmas. However, the Lord gave her strength and she had one last Christmas, with a chance to see several family members, including meeting Georgia, her great granddaughter, for the first time. Grandma Durham's passing is sad, but we rejoice that she knows the Lord, and that God has given her her final healing. She suffers no more! Georgia and I have made the trip to Atlanta to be with my mom and family for several days. Nathan has stayed behind in North Carolina, as he is right in the middle of his German intensive that is required for the Ph.D. program. Please pray for us during this separation, and for my family as we both mourn and rejoice. May God's grace and mercy be shown and glorified through this time.
