Rollin', Rollin', Rollin' on the...floor?

A new milestone achieved: Georgia rolled over yesterday! Now, many babies roll over much earlier than Georgia, but I haven't worried about it too much. She has good motor skills: she grabs her toes, her mom's face and other objects. She can roll onto her side to grasp something, but she seemed in no hurry to roll or flip over. Yesterday I put her on her tummy on the floor of her room. She does not mind 'tummy time' as long as it doesn't last long. Yesterday it went too long for her, so she began to fuss and wiggle and move around...and lo and behold, she rolled from her tummy to her back. Georgia seemed rather startled that she had done it, but even more startled when her mommy clapped for her! How excited we parents get over the littlest achievements!

They do usually seem startled by both new tricks and praise for something they've never done. I love that puzzled baby look! LOL
