Nathan and I realize that we should seize every moment possible to teach Georgia valuable lessons about God, creation, relating to others, and many other topics. Here are some pictures showing our attempts.
Sharing:

Georgia has no siblings, so Joshua Lytle serves her best friend and object lesson. We are trying to teach Georgia to share her toys, her space and even her room with her friends. It is a slow process, but Josh and Georgia are both catching on. (In reality, we aren't teaching them to share in this picture-Georgia had just woken up from her nap and we thought it would be a cute picture with them side by side. A picture of them sharing would be one of them grabbing a toy and the other crying; we have a long ways to go)
Noah and the Ark:

After dinner tonight, a rainstorm moved through our area. See the water standing in the lawn? It was torrential, but we took Georgia out onto our stoop to show her the rain and the wind and to talk to her about God's creation. While we sat outside and felt a nice spray of rain, Nathan told Georgia about how God caused it to rain for 40 days and 40 nights, and though He could have destroyed everyone, He rescued one family, Noah's family. It was a wonderful moment, and though she may not understand all of it, what a wonderful place to start.

so excited parents actually teach their kids the bible. I had a lady who works in a youth group I know ask me if Noah was really in the Bible. I had to try hard not to laugh - but she didn't know if it was just a story they taught at church (like a fairytale).
