Karen's special day
When Nathan and I moved to Wake Forest, the Lord greatly blessed us by allowing us to become friends with Matt and Karen. Now, almost 4 years later, we count them as some of our dearest friends, and I know that there are times when I would not be sane if not for Karen's friendship, commiseration, and encouragement! This past Saturday was a time to give some encouragement back to Karen. She is expecting twin girls this spring, and I was able to plan a shower for her. The theme was "double-stuffed with blessings" (like Oreos), and it was TONS of fun! Check out pictures below and the absolutely FABULOUS montage created by Lindsey, one of the other hostesses.
