Those who helped with the house-hunting/buying/closing process:
- Mark and Clare, the wonderful home owners who were generous and gracious throughout the process
- Kelly at CTX Mortgage who walked us through every step as first time mortgage buyers
- Vic, our 'realtor friend' who affirmed us in the process and helped us with a contract
- Chris Thorne, our first 'real' insurance agent
- Kathryn Drake, our attorney who fit us into her schedule even after our closing date changed
Those who helped with the move (which took place in record time):
- Daniel, John, and Hardy, our fellow church members who drove a good distance to help us load up and move
- Nathan's students, our neighbors and other friends, Murray, Daniel, Tim, Brian, Matt and Jerry, guys who loaded and unloaded the truck efficiently and quickly
- My mom, who watched Georgia during the chaos
- Karen, who helped unpack the kitchen
- Chris and Mary, who cleaned my apartment so I didn't have to--it positively sparkled when they finished!
Those who helped set up the house:
- My mom, who helped unpack boxes and chase Georgia for a week--Georgia definitely wore her Grandma out!
- Nathan's parents, who also helped entertain Georgia, and who helped add finishing touches throughout the house
- Alan Mason, the wonderful salesman at Haverty's who was HELPFUL rather than pushy as we looked for new bedroom furniture
- Andre, the great salesman at the Original Mattress Factory who took the time to explain mattresses to us, and who even encouraged us to take our time when he thought we might be rushing to make a decision
- The Haverty's delivery guys, who delivered our furniture EARLY, without any scratches or dings, and had it set up quickly
- The Original Mattress Factory delivery guys, who put up our mattress and bed springs in record time, whispering while they did it so they wouldn't wake up the sleeping baby! One of them admired our new furniture, calling it "tight" and saying they had to get the bed, which of course made me feel proud about my purchase:-)
- Again, our parents, who have been incredibly supportive and encouraging throughout this process, praying with us during delays, and 'oohing' and 'aahing' at the right moments once they saw the house
- To any I might have forgotten, please forgive me! We could not have done this without the help of our friends, our church family, and our relatives. We love you all. Pictures of the 'finished product' to come soon!

I am so glad you were able to purchase your house. It is so beautiful! Keep us updated with how things are going. I know unpacking all those boxes can be overwhelming with a little one at home
