Happy Father's Day 2008

Nathan is an amazing Daddy to his little girl, Georgia. He lovingly plays tackle, peek-a-boo, and bubbles with Georgia. He pushes her in the swing patiently, and lets her sit with him while he swings even more patiently. He sings her songs and tells her stories, even when she yells "No!" because she doesn't want THAT song or THAT story. He makes her grin when he sings "Dixie", and makes her laugh when he lets her tackle him. He rescues her when she is upset, and he disciplines her when she is disobedient. He is willing to hurt her feelings at times for her good (like when she really wants chips for dinner). He prays with her and for her and loves her no matter what. Georgia is truly blessed to have such a wonderful father, and I am blessed to be married to him. Nathan is already a great daddy to Baxter--praying for him, talking to him, and looking out for him by taking care of me--and he will be a terrific dad when Baxter arrives! I am so thankful for Nathan and for his faith, for without the gospel of Christ he would not be the man he is today. I look forward to celebrating many more Father's Days with him!
