Where I want to be

I turned thirty yesterday, and I am exactly where I want to be.

I have been married to my best friend for almost eight years. We have lived here in North Carolina for four and a half years, and have truly put down roots in this area. I have an amazing church family that loves and supports me, my husband and my children. I have a beautiful little girl that God sent me as the greatest birthday present ever two years ago, and a handsome little boy that arrived three weeks shy of my birthday this year! I am blessed beyond measure with family and friends who encourage me, challenge me, inspire me, and point me to the gospel.

In my college years, I doubted where God was leading me, or if the desires of my heart would be granted. My faith was weak--it still is--and yet God has given me all that I ever wanted or dreamed. My life at thirty is exactly where I want to be. May God be glorified.
