Nathan jokingly told me last week that "It" had worked--CVS had looped me into their scheme to get me to shop there more often. And I have been shopping there more, attempting the CVS game and not doing as well as many people do:-( I think I just need more practice.
But yesterday, CVS came through for me. Here was my steal of a deal:
Pampers were 2/$20, which is an okay price, but buying two gave you $5 in Extra Care Bucks, so it is like getting 2/$15. Here is what I did:
Bought 2 packs of Pampers-
Cost: $20.00
Used $4 off $20 coupon that was good through yesterday
Used two "manny" coupons for $1.50 off each pack of diapers
Total cost of 2 packs of diapers:
$13.00 (before tax) or $0.15 a diaper
PLUS I received $5 in ECB, which if you count that I paid $8, or $0.09 a diaper!
WHOO HOO!!
