than to try to kill two birds with one stone at bathtime! Two nights ago, I gave Baxter a bath in a baby bathtub that I put in the regular bath tub. After his bath, I bathed Georgia in the tub like normal. Tonight I wanted to put Georgia down quickly, but I still wanted to give them both baths. I have a little bath sling-thing that goes directly into the regular tub (or a kitchen sink) that I used with Georgia when we traveled. I thought: "I'll run one bath tub of water, put Baxter in the bath 'thing' long enough to bathe him, and then give G a bath in the same water." I thought I was being efficient, saving water and time.
And then Baxter pooped in the tub.
Thankfully, I am not overly grossed about by baby poo, but I still had to empty the tub, clean the tub and the baby sling/seat and run another tub of water for the kids' baths. Baxter didn't get the cool seat the second time--I just held him in the water long enough to wipe him down. He didn't enjoy that much. But needless to say, I used more water and time than originally planned. But the good news is, my tub is now clean for our weekend visitors!
