Morning with my kids

These were my kids yesterday morning. Scroll down below the pictures for their latest statistics.

Baxter at one month (he was actually 5 weeks old)
Weight: 12 lbs., 6 oz. (95%)
Height/Length: 22 1/2 inches (75%)
Head Circumference: 39.1 cm (60%)
Baxter is healthy and growing well! He is maxing out his 3 month clothing already, which makes me glad that the clothes I just bought are 3-6 month clothes:-) We are falling into more of a regular schedule, and he is sleeping well. The past two nights he has slept until 3, which means that he only nurses one time in the middle of the night, which is terrific. Baxter is vocalizing more, making cute cooing noises and fun sounds. A smile is just around the corner, though we haven't seen it fully manifest yet. He is still a cuddly, snuggly baby, which Nathan, Georgia and I all LOVE!

Georgia at 2 years
Weight: 32 lbs. (85%)
Height: 34 1/4 inches (60%)
Head Circumference: 48.8 cm (80%)
As you can tell, Georgia is also very healthy and growing! Both of my kids are at the top of their percentiles, and are a size or two ahead of their age (Georgia needs 3T in most clothing). Georgia's doctor's appointment went well, though she did not enjoy having her finger pricked, her ears examined or receiving her flu shot. Thankfully we don't have to go back for another year! Georgia continues to amaze us with her vocabulary and mental 'quickness'. For example, the shoes that I bought from The Children's Place are identical to a friend's pair of shoes. When I pulled them out of the box to show to Georgia, she pointed to them and said "Anne!" She remembered Anne wearing those shoes! Either she is brilliant, or she is starting a shoe fetish early:-) Georgia is asking "Who is it?" and "What is that" a lot right now, and is remembering what we identify. She expresses herself more freely, which helps us understand her mood swings...most of the time!

For both of our kids, this is a fun and trying age, but Nathan and I are so blessed to be able to parent these two blessings.
