As you may remember, Nathan and I participated in the 2008 Walk for Life to support Pregnancy Support Services of Wake Forest. I was blessed and amazed by people's generosity last year, and I hope this year will be even better! The 2009 Walk for Life will be April 25, 2009, and I am leading a team of my church members as walkers. I need your prayers and (monetary) support :-)
We live in tough economic times, where tightness in the wallet is being felt everywhere. This crisis is hurting non-profit charities and ministries like Pregnancy Support Services. Their receipts are down, several groups are not promoting Walk for Life, and their walker participation is not as high as they would like. They still need our help.
PSSWF touches many lives across the area by helping men and women deal with crisis pregnancies. The Walk for Life is about raising money, but also about raising community awareness and support. Please pray that PSSWF would meet their goals for the 2009 Walk for Life and that the community would be touched. What an amazing chance we have to support this ministry and put 'feet to our faith' by helping those in need.
And, of course, if the Lord is moving you to donate, please do! All funds (which are tax-deductible) raised for Walk for Life must be turned in by Friday, April 24. If you are in the area and want to donate, let me know, and I will stop by to pick up your donation! If you are one of many friends spread across the US, you can mail me a check (contact me for the address). Above all, please be praying for the lives that are touched through this ministry. Thank you so much for sharing in this experience with me.

I just wanted to know that I am thankful that you posted this information. My husband was looking for it, and I got online and found your website through a search on the "Walk of Life". I hope to see you at the walk. I will be there with my family (there are 8 of us). May God bless your efforts to bless the PSSWF!
