I survived the Kids Exchange (Raleigh Consignment Sale)...but barely

Two hours shopping, almost two hours in line to purchase the wonderful goodies below...it was worth it, right? Great bargains, great finds, great prices, great aching feet!

New carseat, toys, books and shoes (there is another pair of shoes and at least two more books, but G ran off with them...)

Georgia's "everyday" dresses--the great thing about her fixation with dresses is that that was all I shopped for! Oh, and the ADORABLE madras capris in the bottom corner:-)

Georgia's "church" dresses--though these may swap around some with the others (I think the denim dress will be 'everyday', and the leopard print above might be church, but we'll see...)

The one--Only ONE!--clothing item purchased for Baxter, an adorable, like-new wool jacket from Gap. The most expensive item I bought except for the car seat, he won't be able to wear it for two years...but it was totally worth it!

Oh, you are right, that jacket is great-and it looks like it's never been worn! I still have a size 12 navy blazer from the Polo outlet that I bought for Joshua for 15.99---it's worth hanging on to! So happy for all your finds---yep, it was worth it!

Mr. S. and I did the same thing for Bradford years ago--we found a Gap Navy peacoat for cheap and saved it for two years before he was able to wear it!

Looks like you got some good stuff, and I like that carseat.
