A local MOPS group held a special Christmas program where a local ballet company performed selections from the Nutcracker, taught the kids a few steps, and allowed the children to see their costumes up close. The kids and I were able to attend, and we had so much fun! Georgia was fascinated by what she called "the princesses", and she really enjoyed dancing with all of the other children. At the end of the program, she was not interested in any of the younger ballerinas' outfits--she wanted to see the teenage girl's "princess" outfit.
