Last Friday night, Nathan and I had what we have affectionately termed "our last hurrah"--our last big date night before Georgia arrives. We had tickets to the opening night of the Broadway touring production The Lion King. Nathan and I both enjoy musical theater, so I bought tickets for the show back in May (I wanted to be certain I was able to see it before the baby arrived). May I just say that it was a wonderful production!!!! The sets, the costumes, the puppetry were all absolutely amazing. We splurged on good seats, and consequently had the opportunity to be very close to some of the action. At the very beginning of the show there was one person on stage chanting and two out in the audience--one of whom was standing very close to our row! The little kids sitting in our row were completely enthralled (but I must confess, Nathan and Leah were as well-we both had moments of "Wow-that was amazing!").
Anyway, here is a picture of our big date night (taken by the immensely talented photographer, Nathan):

Glad you two got to go out and enjoy yourselves! Do it as much as you can for the next few weeks. Wishing you a happy, healthy, and boring remainder of your pregnancy, and an easy birth. I'm working on your gift right now, but I'm not sure it will be finished before she is born. {{{hugs}}}
