One last picture of Georgia in the womb

I had a "regular" doctor's visit on Tuesday afternoon. There is little to report about it--I am slightly dilated, slightly effaced as I have been for at least three weeks. My body is ready, and we are just waiting for the contractions to start! My doctor was concerned that I was still measuring rather small, so they fit me in for an ultrasound just to check Georgia's weight and size. The doctor did put a disclaimer on it--the ultrasounds are not always accurate, and they can be off by as much as pound. That said, the ultrasound averaged Georgia's weight at 6 lbs, 14 ozs. Even if it went a pound or two either way, she is very healthy sized. Nathan says that all the ultrasound proved is what we already know--I am just small! The picture above is of Georgia's profile--she is clasping her hands close to her face, so it is hard to see. But that's our little girl! We just cannot wait to meet her in person.

Tomorrow is my due date, but we all know that means very little. Please pray that Nathan and I will trust in God's perfect timing, and not try to jump ahead of His plan. If I have not had Georgia over the weekend, we will go back to the doctor on Monday, at which point they will begin to look at scheduling an induction. Again, we appreciate your prayers--this is our first time having a child, and so much is unknown!! We will do our best to keep you up to date with what is going on, but if you don't hear from me for awhile...hopefully it is because Georgia is here (and not because I am lazy!).
