Georgia, like many babies, sleeps in a basinet in our bedroom right now. For the past several nights, she has not enjoyed going to bed, though once she really conks out, she is fine. Just a few minutes ago, I put her in her "real crib" while I went to the bathroom (seemed like the safest place to "stick her" for a few minutes). She started to cry and fuss, but just as I walked into the nursery to rescue her, she stopped. Georgia had completely passed out and is asleep! She looks absolutely adorable in her crib, and has not stirred in the 15 minutes she has been down (she does not normally last that long in her basinet in the afternoons right now). I think we might be upgrading her to her big girl crib sooner than we thought if she sleeps well this afternoon. Anyway, I just had to share my daughter's quirks with you--I would take a picture and post it, but I need to nap while she does!

They do have their own minds about things sometimes! And Luke slept in the crib from day 1, so I know she'll be just fine if you decide to go that route. {{{hugs}}}
Jackson slept in the basinet for just a couple of days and then he just looked so uncomfortable that we put him in the pack in play in our room. He had to be in the pack in play basinet top because of the billy bed for his juandice. Then we put him in his crib and he was great till recently when he realized that mommy, daddy and that white fuzzy thing (our dog) sleep all together in the other room. He really wants to be with us now that he is so alert in our bed. Ah!
