This is my 600th blog post, and as such, it is only appropriate to honor the same little fellow who got a special tribute on blog post #300: Baxter Finn. He is two years old today, and what a wonderful reason to celebrate. After a low-key morning, he went on a daddy/son date with Nathan to Shorty's in downtown Wake Forest (famous for their hot dogs). The Finn men had a lot of fun! We have more activities planned later (dinner at Chick-Fil-A), and I have taken more pictures, but for now, here's the birthday boy:
Baxter, we are so blessed to have you in our family. I doubted that I had room in my heart for more love before you came along, but I did! We know that God has given us a special gift in you, my rough and tumble, sweet and loving little boy, and we pray that you will love Him and serve Him from a very early age. Happy Second Birthday!

Oh my gracious, is Shorty's still around? Still have the pool tables in the back room? We used to eat there when Jacob (who just turned 30) was Baxter's age!! Sounds like a great way to spend a birthday. Hope it was a great one!
