A visit to the Southern Forest Museum, Waycross

While visiting Nathan's family, we visited the Southern Forest Museum in Waycross. The museum was closed, but we weren't there for the inside exhibits--we just wanted to play on the steam engine located outside! Georgia, Baxter and Eleanor all enjoyed climbing on the train, with G and B calling out "All Aboard!" multiple times and singing the theme song from "Polar Express" :-) Their cousin Sophia came as well, but she preferred to run around and enjoy the beautiful sunshine rather than climb on the old train. It was a lovely day to be outside, exploring  the museum grounds and playing on the train. We made wonderful memories (and now the kids want to go there on every visit!).

On seeing Baxter and Eleanor, Selah said, "Joe! Baby!"

Cool! We'll have to check it out next time we're in the area.
