Back in October the kids and I took a walk through our local park (Joyner Park) learning about fall foliage from an arborist. It was fun time of learning about trees native to North Carolina, collecting leaves in various colors, and generally just running around the park. Sadly, I don't remember enough about the trees to label them in the pictures, but NC has beautiful trees in a variety of colors! Just as an aside, my camera battery died, so I used my iPhone to take these pictures, and I was pleased with how they turned out!
