Good Friday

On Good Friday, Nathan took time away from his writing to spend a family day with us. Of course, we had to go to the state park! Later in the day we had a family movie night watching Swiss Family Robinson. Interspersed through our fun day, though, we tried to remind our children why such a horrible day--the day Jesus died on the cross--could be considered good. 2 Cor. 5:21 explains it to us: "For our sake he made him [Jesus] to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." Hallelujah.
