A brief ode...

to high speed internet access! Thanks to a wonderful little company/merger called Embarq and their "Bundled plans", the Finns have finally moved into the fast access DSL era. Granted, our fast access DSL is nothing like the EXTREMELY fast access we have at work, but it is certainly MILES ahead of the dial-up Juno we have used for all of our married life (my apologies to Juno--we have not had problems with them, but it was time for us to move on). We have wanted this for several years but have not been able to justify the expenditure. Now that I will be staying home with Georgia, and frequently emailing pictures of her to her adoring grandparents, we wanted a faster connection. Plus it is just cool to be able to talk on the phone and surf the web at the same time.

So maybe my blog postings will increase...eventually. For right now, I am trying to finish up my career at SEBTS and prepare for Georgia's arrival. Once she arrives, she will occupy a majority of our time, which I am sure you will understand. After things 'calm down' (20 years? :0), I hope to be posting more frequently. We shall see...
