After Christmas, we enrolled Georgia and Baxter in two different activities through the local recreation department. Georgia is doing a ballet for homeschoolers class once a week. It is very low pressure--meets for six weeks at a time, and the only costume requirement is ballet slippers. Two other girls in our neighborhood took the class with her (it ended this week), and they had a lot of fun. As you can see, she is learning how to pose like a ballerina :-)
For Baxter, we enrolled him in a "Lil Sluggers" class that is a baseball skills class for ages 4-6. It is designed specifically to teach him basic fielding, base running, batting skills, but again is low pressure with no games or teams. He is enjoying it, and having fun with other boys his own age.
